Industry: Education Tech. & Design

Challenge: As follow up to an 80-page thesis paper (on Ai in EdTech) I needed to produce research on chatbots within the context of online learning. How could I study messenger style direct chat interactions within a learning setting?

Solution:I organized a local in-person web design camp and guided 5 diverse students through popular online lessons acting as a support robot in the classroom slack channels. I learned heaps about bot interactions and the kids learned more about web design than I ever anticipated. With great encouragement from the local community, I aim to continue this camp as a recently registered CA non-profit organization. (View project website).
